The meeting was focused on the SCENE course: "Problem‐Based Learning in secondary and vocational schools: a student‐centered pedagogy based on real‐world experiences". The National Facilitators were trained to guide the course participants during the project experimentation.
SCENE courses in Turkey
Here some pictures of the first workshop (09.10.2013) of the SCENE courses in Turkey at Kocaeli Valiligi (Governorship of Kocaeli) office. During the meeting it was introduced the SCENE project, the PBL course overall structure, agenda, and the Virtual Facilitator.

SCENE partners decided to develope a specific training path for headmasters and vocational school managers. This course has been developed taking into account headmasters and vocational school managers specific and actual needs such as the reduced time available and the less flexibility to take part in training courses.

FOR.COM. submitted a paper entitled "Enhanced Problem-Based Learning through an Innovative Virtual Learning Environment: an Opportunity for Science Teachers". It is published under the Conference proceedings page and presented during the conference.

During the meeting in Romania (26 and 27 March 2013) a pre-testing session was arranged among a small sample of SCENE target group (teachers, trainers and headmasters/vocational school managers) to evaluate the SCENE course as well as the Virtual Learning Environment functionalities and accessibility.
